inALLcapsradio - The Podcast Companion for inALLcaps Music Blog

We have a passion for music here at inALLcaps. From Screamo to Electro House. We want to share some great music from artists we think you should be aware of. If WE really knew what we were doing, we would have started a music label instead of this blog...but we are on your side, and we are ALWAYS right. we LOVE you. in all caps.

Episode 3.3 And Sometimes Consume Adult Beverages...

check out verybadpoetry.org our sponsor for this episode of the podcast.

Quite possibly the most overbearing and annoying podcast yet. You will come to understand why Mookie is up for sainthood. The Little One is an obnoxious drunk.

Eventually, we will discover which 90's-influenced band from today is the best one.  After we argue about covers vs. mash-ups, try valiantly to get Mookie off-track, dispute and debate the merits and influence of Nirvana, and investigate whether The Little One has Multiple Personality Disorder, perhaps we will come to a conclusion.

Is it... Cage The Elephant?

Could it be... The Joy Formidable?

Or quite possibly... Mr. Dream?

The band Yuck is quite a contender as well.

We can't decide whether you will feel more sorry for Mookie, TLO, or yourself.  But at least we maybe turned you on to some new tunes?

Episode 3.2 A lazy approach to podcasting while hungover

Episode 3.2 A lazy approach to podcasting while hungover by inallcaps

Mookie and The Little One go over this season's must-see tours. Can you find a new favorite band? Have you ever heard of DJ ZTrip, the pioneer of the mashup? Mookie nerds out and tells us all about his encounter with the famous mixmaster. We will share lots of songs with you in this episode as we prepare you to find a show or festival near you as summer approaches.

The Joy Formidable, Jukebox The Ghost, Bright Eyes, and The Get Up Kids are some other bands you will hear discussed today.

How about some Local H? They have a new greatest hits album and yep - ON TOUR! Rooney, The Kills, Ben Harper, Airborne Toxic Event, and Portugal. The Man are just a few of the other bands we'd like you to try to see in the coming months.

And don't forget that it is RECORD STORE DAY on Saturday April 16! Support some analog!
